Guiding You through Your Pregnancy in Flower Mound, TX

Pregnancy Ultrasound Image
Congratulations! Pregnancy is one of the most exciting and anxiety-provoking times in a woman’s life. Our mission is to make your pregnancy as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Follow the links below to access our patient education materials, safe-during-pregnancy medication list, links to childbirth classes, and to pre-register for your hospital stay.
The ACOG (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) recommends that pregnant women be seen for scheduled visits and have lab work done to assess their health and the health of the baby. The initial visit is usually between 6-10 weeks of gestation. Most women will return for visits every 4 weeks until 28-30 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and then weekly until delivery. Ultrasounds are usually done around the first visit to confirm gestational age and around 20 weeks to assess the anatomy of the baby.

Welcome to the Third Trimester

Congratulations! That long-awaited moment is just around the corner! By now, you should have selected a pediatrician, purchased an infant car seat, and packed a bag for your hospital stay (robe, comfortable pajamas, slippers, toiletries, lip balm, and clothes for you and the baby to wear home). If you are planning on cord blood collection, place your kit with your hospital bag.
Please follow the links below to view educational materials that will discuss a variety of important subjects such as cord blood banking, labor, delivery, postpartum care, and postpartum depression.
